Job summary
Our client is a leading freight forwarding, transport and shipping industry specialist based in Basildon looking for an experienced Sales Executive. The successful candidate would be selling freight forwarding services for both imports & exports worldwide.Responsibilities Include:
* Build and develop relationships with clients via telephone and face to face
* Selling and promoting air and sea freight import/export services
* Have a good understanding of the business's services and be able to advise others about them
* Understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet/exceed these
* Generate leads and cold call prospective customers to create a sales pipeline
* Generate sales from your pipeline
The Person:
* MUST have a minimum of one years experience in Air and/or Sea freight sales
* Highly driven, committed, self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
* Have the ability to source your own leads
* Confident
* Strong negotiation skills
In Return:
Our client offers a competitive salary package of £25,000-£55,000 (Commission based on experience) and car allowance and company fuel card. 20 days holiday.
This is a full time permanent position Monday - Friday.
