We have an exciting opportunity with a leading Leisure and Entertainment brand with sites across the UK. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join this growing business as Area Operations Manager for the North-West.
As the Area Operations Manager you will be crucial in driving operational excellence, team leadership, and customer satisfaction across 8-10 Sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontline Leadership: Regularly visit sites to lead from the front, ensuring close engagement with site-level teams.
Performance Monitoring: Responsible for the companies' Northern sites, you will support site-level management to implement circuit-wide and site-specific objectives with a focus on admissions, Spend Per Head (SPH), and other key metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Team Management: Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of internal processes. Organize Regional Managers' meetings, regular 1:1s with site management, set agendas, to drive performance and ensure accountability.
Performance Management and Development: Conduct regular performance appraisals, providing constructive feedback and personalized development plans to foster professional growth and enhance operational effectiveness across North sites.
Operational Excellence: Identify and implement efficiency enhancements, manage annual audits, and facilitate site-level improvements in policy, procedures, and health and safety.
Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with site management to enhance service quality, with a focus on improving NPS and mystery shopper scores, customer service, and cleanliness.
Recruitment & Training: Support recruitment and training initiatives at the site level, ensuring teams are well-equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control measures, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Rota Management: Support the rota process, ensuring efficient staff allocation.
New Site Launch: When appropriate assist in the setup, staffing, and training for new locations.The ideal Candidate:
