Contracts Manager Oxfordshire/UKOxford Hydrotechnics is a market leading resin injection and concrete grouting specialist company working on prestigious projects across the UK. We use cutting edge techniques to meet our clients needs.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with responsibility for managing multi site, multi functioning teams to deliver high quality, cost effective projects across the UK. Based at our head office in Baynards Green, Oxfordshire, this role will also involve significant travel including some overnight stays.
With day to day operational, health & safety, team, and financial management responsibilities, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skill set further within a niche market.
Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinating, overseeing and managing multiple projects at varying stages.
* Managing a team of Site Managers and Operatives as well as an office-based Contracts Administrator.
* Planning and delivering projects of works safely, maximising productivity and profitability.
* Identifying operational project constraints and creating plans for remedial actions
* Cost monitoring and project budget management demonstrating commercial awareness.
* Full ownership of H&S management on all project sites ensuring staff compliance.
* Preparing Risk Assessments as part of bespoke RAMS for each project.
* Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of current HSE regulations and legislation.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
* Multiple concurrent project management.
* Valid SMSTS.
* Experienced in budget management.
* Demonstrable team management experience.
* High degree of numeracy and literacy.
* Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office and Project Manager (or similar).
* Dedicated to developing and maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships.
* A full UK driving license is essential.
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday including 30 minute daily paid lunch break
