Job summary
CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer (London) to join a diagnostics company working field based and covering within the M25 (East London) and potentially wider London on a contract basis for 12 months.Salary:
£200-£250 PAYE per day or £265.27 - £331.59 Umbrella per day
As Field Support Engineer you will:
Be responsible for providing frontline, on-site application, engineering or IT technical support to designated customers.
This role will develop best practice for the lab/network and trust as well as leading to improvements in the delivery of service.
Be the interface between customers, field force, office based support and commercial business areas building strong key relationships.
Your tasks will include:
Onsite handling of customer issues and enquiries liaising with other Business areas to provide support.
Identification and troubleshooting of issues on site.
Ensuring quality of service at designated site through training, case management and technical meetings.
Perform role and associated service activities professionally and in line with company expectations, taking ownership at all times on the service offering that the company provides to its customers.
Ensure safety standards are met and carried out in accordance with HS-01-04 (Health and Safety Manual)
Your Background:
Degree educated (relevant biomedical discipline)
Previous experience of working in a hospital / research laboratory (strongly desired)
Proven track record of troubleshooting experience (desired)
A degree in electrical engineering, medical technology or relevant Biomedical Science Degree e.g. ONC/HND, City & Guilds, diploma, degree or equivalent. (highly advantageous)
Essential:
Proficient digital literacy essential (PC, mobile workforce applications, smartphone apps, IT security)
Good Communication Skills
Able to work independently and in a diverse team environment
Full UK/EU (or equivalent) driving licence
Passport (required for overseas training).
Desirable:
Gained several years experience of working in the medical, technical environment as a technician or medical technical assistant
Can demonstrate familiarity with medical analytical systems and quality assurance
Proven track record of troubleshooting experience
Understanding of the Diagnostics industry and familiar with working in a multicultural environment
Prior experience of providing engineering support to complex equipment.
Experience of on site customer facing engineering support.
Troubleshooting experience including attention to detail.
