About The RoleWe are seeking a Civils Manager to join our Power Networks Division.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following;
* Responsibility for all Power Networks Civils performance for both direct employed operatives and sub contract / supply chain, Ensuring all Health and Safety, street works, customer service procedures are followed and documented in line with company expectations.
* Maintaining the highest standards for Health and Safety performance through a rigorous audit regime, challenging all non-conformances and taking appropriate action where needed.
* Monitoring and maintaining highest levels of compliance for NRAWS / street works performance adhering to local authority requests and providing adequate feedback to all stakeholders via written and verbal communication.
* Overseeing management of Linbrooke depot regarding safe storage and utilisation of fleet, plant and Chapter 8 equipment and associate resource, liaising with HSEQ, logistics teams.
* Work in conjunction with street works manager attending all necessary street works, client and highway authority meetings, completing all agreed actions to time, cost and quality.
* Collaborative working with internal stakeholders developing IT based processes (Red Zebra) to collate all relevant site info and improving all round efficiencies for staff, plant and material usage.
* Attend sub-contractor introduction meetings assisting HSEQ and procurement team with on boarding taking all necessary steps to ensure the company does not accept any unnecessary risk to reputation.

Essential
* Street works accreditation
* Civils experience both excavation and reinstatement
* Broad knowledge of civils associated vehicles, plant and machinery
* Experience of managing multiple site teams
* Experience of excavation and cable laying on Electrical networks.
Desirable
* Management qualification
* IOSH
* Relevant Health and Safety accreditation
