Shifts: Days
Salary: up to £40,000 (starting)
Hours per week: 40 hours per week (1 weekend in 4 required)
Overtime: 1.5x after 40 hours / 2x Sundays and BHs

Client Summary:
A leading manufacturer of Industrial Waste Management Systems, including vertical balers and waste compactors across a range of industries.
Position Summary:
Working as a Field Service Engineer - the candidate will be responsible for conducting predominantly reactive maintenance across a range of waste compaction machinery (cardboard, recycling, black bag waste) - in addition to this, Field Service Engineers will also take part in onsite installations of bespoke machinery and the larger Channel Balers.
The role will cover a significant portion of the South of England and candidates may be required to work away from home.
All Engineers are to be issued with a works van, company phone, company tablet and company credit card and would be expected to book their own accommodation accordingly - keeping receipts of all purchases.
Engineers would be expected to be able to keep stock of the items within their own van and order parts accordingly.
All Engineers are paid - Door 2 Door
On-call bonus - £100 per shift (paid whether called out or not)
Quarterly Bonus
In addition to this candidates are also encouraged to engage with the client in regards to further training and qualifications to develop their own career.
Roles can include:
* Reactive Maintenance - channel balers / vertical balers
* Conducting planned maintenance
* Onsite installations / commissioning
* Dealing with customers onsite
Person Profile/Experience:
* A strong mechanical / hydraulics / electrical background is required.
* Ability to work alone with minimal instruction
* Ability to manage work load / hotel bookings
* Able to stay away from home for up to 3 weeks
* Driver's licence - comfortable with travel
* 5 years experience within the Waste / Recycling Industry
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 2/3 (or similar in engineering)
