There is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a global leading Tier 1 construction company that has over 116,000 employees but still keeps their family values and maintains an intimacy with their employees.The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of a small to medium-sized project up to the value of £10m, or for a section of a larger project and you will understand the impact of commercial and technical changes at strategic level within the customer's business industry/sector.
As a successful candidate, You will anticipate and plan change in commercial resources within a project to meet changing demands, have a high degree of understanding and working knowledge of p[rokect commercial start-up and procedures, prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns, maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment and monitor and manage subcontract costs to ensure that the project meets and/or exceeds targets. You will work on projects from inception to completion and close out the project efficiently and ensure appropriate records and information are kept and archived.
