Receptionist - 6 Month contract role - £14.00 per hourAre you a personable and organized individual with a knack for handling challenging situations? We're seeking a Receptionist to join our clients dynamic team and be the first point of contact for our visitors and customers. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities:
* Meet and Greet: Welcome visitors and customers with a warm and professional demeanor, including those who may present challenging situations. Provide additional support as needed.
* Security Procedures: Ensure all visitors adhere to security procedures for signing in. Promptly inform hosts of visitor arrivals.
* Customer Queries: Address customer queries to the best of your ability. Escalate enquiries to an appropriate Manager when necessary.
* Facilities Support: Respond to Facilities requests on the Facilities ServiceNow service desk, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
* Reception Area Maintenance: Keep the reception area, interview, and meeting rooms tidy and well-stocked with necessary items. Ensure displayed literature is relevant and up to date.
* Mail Management: Handle all internal and external post/packages. Open, distribute, and frank post, keeping the franking machine adequately credited. Promote the use of DX where applicable.
* Invoicing: Address invoicing queries promptly and efficiently.
* Building Checks: Undertake thorough building checks, recording and reporting findings related to office cleanliness, adherence to the "flexible office working" policy, waste and recycling, health and safety breaches, or repairs.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
* Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
* Familiarity with Facilities ServiceNow service desk is a plus.
