Director of Apprenticeships Barnsley College - Permanent - £60,384 per annumBarnsley College are seeking a new Director to manage our growing Apprenticeships department. In this role, you will work with external stakeholders, partners and employers to develop our apprenticeship offer, whilst ensuring quality improvement measures are embedded to maintain our Outstanding Ofsted status.

Director of Apprenticeships
Permanent vacancy - 37 hours per week
£60,384 per annum
Our new Director of Apprenticeships will work closely with the Business Development team, external stakeholders and employers to develop our apprenticeship offer; maintaining positive working practices to sustain strong working relationships. You will drive further improvement in achievement rates across the provision, by ensuring quality improvement measures are embedded to guarantee excellent teaching and learning. This will involve leading a team of Apprenticeship Managers to manage and support the performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the wider Apprenticeships department.
Knowledge of Apprenticeship compliance, regulatory and funding frameworks and current standards is a key requirement for the Director of Apprenticeships post. We are looking for significant and demonstrable, successful previous management experience working in Further / Higher Education.
