Job summary

In 2020, Charlie is building the tools to make work better for startups and ambitious small businesses.We're looking for an experienced Product Marketer to help us define, grow and convert our target audience.
You'll be the first product marketing hire at the company - joining at an exciting inflection point as we look to build new products that enable startups to actively craft their company culture.

You'll be central to helping us market that point of view, tell that story and communicate the value of our products.
In this role you will:
Become an internal expert on Charlie's products
Integrate with our sales team to understand our sales process and our customers
Lead the marketing team's efforts to deeply understand our target audience - their JTBDs, pain-points & our buyer's journey
Analyse our market and play a central role in positioning our products.
Own our messaging & sales narrative
Oversee the development of homepage and marketing landing pages that clearly and compellingly tells the story of Charlie and the value we're delivering to the world
Create content that creates impact across the business (case studies, sales enablement, onboarding emails)
Work with our leadership team to prioritise what market verticals to target
Requirements
You have experience developing, testing and validating customer propositions.
You're empathetic and genuinely excited to learn about our customers, how they manage their teams and grow their businesses.
A succinct and engaging writer, able to translate customer insights into easy-to-understand language.
Excellent communication skills - you're able to adapt how you communicate to a wide range of different audiences & stakeholders.
You care about sharing your ideas in a clear and easily understandable way - you want to bring your colleagues into your thinking early and for them to be a part of that journey.
Experience analysing markets to develop go-to-market strategies.
Comfortable with qualitative (user surveys & user research) and quantitative data analysis.
Experience working in a B2B SaaS company - you know how these types of companies grow.
