Job Description: Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor

As a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor, your primary responsibility is the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of all orders during the night shift. You will oversee the picking, checking, and dispatching of orders to ensure precision and effectiveness, facilitating a seamless experience for customers checking their deliveries. In addition to managing the operational aspects, your role involves leading the team to work efficiently, guaranteeing that all routine warehouse duties align with company ethos and values. Your commitment to accuracy, speed, and adherence to guiding principles will contribute to a streamlined and customer-centric warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead night shift staff with a hands-on approach.
Manage shift performance, striving for continuous improvement.
Oversee quick and efficient order picking, thorough checking, and careful packing.
Manage error resolution through transparent investigation and training.
Perform various warehouse duties, including stocktakes, replenishment, and productivity improvements.
Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements, reporting incidents, and completing machine pre-checks.
Unlock the warehouse every Sunday evening, maintain premises security, and manage smoking procedures.
Handle absenteeism in line with company policy, including Return to Work interviews.
Complete reports thoroughly and timely, including end-of-shift reports and weekly management updates.Skills and Experience:

Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
Full Forklift Operators Licence.
Ability to see the bigger picture in operations work-flow.
Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.

Strong decision-making ability.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety in a warehouse environment.

Warehouse Accuracy % against orders picked.
Stock Fulfilment % against items picked.
Completion of various warehouse duties each shift.
