The Queen's Foundation is one of the oldest theological colleges in England. The attractive campus in Edgbaston, Birmingham is a busy place, with teaching taking place typically seven days a week and several evenings, for most of the calendar year.

If you are an experienced administrator with a strong focus on customer service, a keen eye for detail, and great interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you!
Combining reception services with administrative duties, this complex and varied role requires strong coordination skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
Excellent IT skills, including Office 365, are essential. You will be a confident user of Excel, able to use spreadsheets to record, manage and extract information. Experience in using bookings and database software would be an advantage but we are happy to provide training for the right person.
Key responsibilities:
To uphold our strong customer-focused ethos as the friendly and professional reception and first point of contact, responding to a broad and complex range of enquiries.
To provide administrative support for the Campus Manager to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of campus reception and hospitality activities.
To take responsibility for delivering efficient room booking service for academic activities, conferences, and events, using booking software and internal systems.
To drawdown, prepare and analyse routine data reports using various software platforms, spreadsheets, and trackers
To maintain and promote accurate campus information and procedures, supporting good practice and efficient operations.
To assist with accommodation arrangements for permanent and temporary residents, as well as for residential events and conferences.
To work closely with the House Keeping, Facilities, and Catering teams, to ensure that high standards of service are delivered and maintained.
To work with colleagues across the Foundation in undertaking other task which are reasonably required so that essential areas of work are covered if operational needs arise.Person Specification:
Essential:
Experience in similar customer service/reception/administrator role
Strong verbal and written communication (interpersonal) skills
Ability to respond appropriately to diverse customers and guests
Professional appearance and outlook
GCSE pass English and Maths
Strong IT skills using Office 365 (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Ability to multitask and prioritise by being well planned and organised
Ability to manage stress and stay calm under pressure
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Sound decision making and judgment skills
Works with confidence and flexibility, independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctualDesirable:
Experience using booking software

The postholder will spend a considerable time working at a computer.
The postholder may be involved in some manual work associated with office activities, such as bending, stretching and lifting in the course of their duties, e.g. maintaining information boards, work associated with office equipment, inventory and taking delivery of stock such as stationery, etc.
