Service: Small Residential Home - Elderly
Are you an experienced Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader looking for that next step or an Assistant Manager looking for a new opportunity? My client is currently looking for an Assistant Manager for a small service based in Bognor Regis. This service provides specialist care for the elderly who may also have some complex care needs.
They are keen to appoint an Assistant Manager that can grow with the service and also the company. The company has an excellent reputation within the area and consistently strive to ensure the provision of the highest quality service to their service users.
As Assistant Manager, you will support the manager in the day to day running of the home. Your key responsibilities will include working closely with the staff to ensure they are working to the best of their abilities, and assessing performance. You will guide and inspire the team to make a positive difference to the residents lives ensuring dignity, respect and inclusion is part of their everyday lives.
My client aims to support the people that live in their homes to do so as independently as possible. Providing great training opportunities for the team to ensure they have all the skills that they need to assist the lovely people that they look after, to live a safe, structured, and fulfilled lifestyle.
Main Duties:
Assist the manager in the day to day running of the home
Ensure staff provide the highest level of care standards
To support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met
To support the personal development of each service user, ensuring that they are treated as an individual with their own unique support needs
To ensure that the dignity and individuality of each service user is respected and that they are able to exercise choice in all areas of their life
To work in accordance with the companies vision statement, policies and procedures, and all relevant legalisation
Experience:
Experience with Elderly care
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Previous experience in a similar service
Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
Dynamic & Enthusiastic
