Salary: £40k with a £4.5k performance related bonus
Amber Mace is currently looking for a Registered Manager for a small Residential service providing care for those with mental health conditions opening in Bognor Regis in 2024, my client is wanting the Registered Manager to start in March 2024.
As the Registered Care Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care facility ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to the residents. You will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of care staff and promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect throughout the organisation. Utilising your exceptional leadership and management skills, you will drive excellence in care provision and continuously strive to improve service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the smooth running of the care home, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Lead, manage, and develop a skilled care team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Oversee care planning and risk assessments, ensuring individualized care plans are in place.
Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the local community.
Monitor and maintain the home's compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory bodies.
Take an active role in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
Maintain accurate records and manage budgets efficiently.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
At least 2 year's Registered Manager experience within a care home
Able to reliably commute to Bognor Regis daily
Must have previous experience with Mental Health conditions
Ideally have existing relationships with commissioners, brokerage and social workers at West Sussex County Council
Experience of commissioning and developing a new service
Full clean drivers licence
