About the Role:

As a dedicated member of our Protocol Education team, you will play an integral part in nurturing and supporting students with SEMH needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one support to students, fostering their social and emotional development.
Collaborating closely with teachers and SEMH specialists to implement personalized support plans and effective behavior management strategies.
Assisting in various classroom activities, ensuring students' engagement and participation despite their SEMH challenges.
Cultivating positive and trustful relationships with students, contributing to their overall well-being and personal growth.
Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for individuals who possess:

Previous experience in a school or care setting, supporting students dealing with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
A solid understanding of SEMH conditions and effective strategies for support.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to empathetically connect with students and enhance their social and emotional development.
Compassion, patience, and empathy, driven by a genuine passion for supporting students facing SEMH challenges.
Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the diverse needs of students across different age groups and abilities.
A valid enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or a willingness to obtain one.
Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
