Receptionist/AdminPrimary school based in the Preston area is seeking to appoint an Receptionist/Admin Assistant.
The post will be available initially on a casual basis with a potential of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Job Description :
Receptionist/Admin Support Assistant to carry out reception duties and offer administrative support. You must have a flexible approach and work well under pressure. As the first point of contact for the school the successful candidate will be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. Previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
Answering all incoming telephone calls through the switchboard, transferring and announcing calls where appropriate and taking telephone messages.
To ensure the provision of an effective and efficient reception, promoting a welcoming environment for all and supporting the schools aim of corporate excellence.
To facilitate the smooth running of the reception area by undertaking reasonable tasks, when instructed by the Office Manager.
To work for the school and also within specified areas offering administrative support including typing, filing, photocopying, preparation of reports, help with the organisation of school trips.
