Job summary
Brief OutlineOur client, an industry leading company within the Passive Fire Protection market is on the lookout for a Passive Fire Protection Project Manager to join their team to head up their Fire Stopping projects.
About our Client
With over 30 years within the Fire Protection market, they have an established client base and have consistent work throughout the UK. They will be looking for a self-starting Project Manager to oversee projects in and around the Birmingham area based out of their offices just north of Birmingham
About the Role
Develop and manage the internal passive fire protection team and supply chain through performance development, reviews and coaching
Have experience working within an office environment
Attend site visits at least once a week
Work closely with clients and develop lasting working relationships to ensure excellent service delivery
Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation within the companies policies and procedures
Manage and oversee BM Trada certification to ensure full compliance
Be instrumental in the growth of the division through performance and service offering to both new and existing clients
Business development of new clients
See an entire project through from inception to completion through the pricing, surveying, design co-ordination, programming, methodology and auditing processes including quality assurance and certifications
Working to ensure completion of projects to a deadline
Implement new and innovative ideas and refine existing processes and procedures
About the Candidate
Have a proven track record in managing Fire Stopping projects within the Social Housing, Care Home or Educational sector in an office environment
Have commercial knowledge of Fire Stopping aspects such as Cavity Barriers, Fire Curtains, Batt & Mastic and Penetration Seals
Be comfortable with using a PC (non-negotiable)
Be in possession of one or more of the following qualifications:
BM Trada in Passive Fire Protection
FIRAS in Passive Fire Protection
BRE in Passive Fire Protection
Have experience working in an office environment
Have the capability to analyse a project and problem solve
Have a do-it-right-first-time mentality
