Talent Partnership is working with a leading marketer and distributor of molasses products for an IT Systems Administrator who will working as part of an established IT Support function, to provide comprehensive application support and train all users on best practices of all their IT systems and provide technical support for all of the IT functions of the business.
In order to be considered for this exciting role you must have a desire to learn new skills whilst also having
Good incident diagnosis and problem-solving skills within an IT environment.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (2013 & 365).
Good network knowledge (WAN / LAN).
A good working knowledge of IT back-end servers (e.g., MS SQL)
A good understanding of PC hardware set-up, configuration, and maintenance.
A strong customer service ethos with a can-do mentality.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise different activities.
Experience of playing a key role within a team environment.
A flexible approach to the provision of support services to a dynamic, growing business.
A strong desire to learn new skills.
It would be highly desired for the successful IT Systems Administrator to speak a second language such as French, Spanish or Italian, but this is not essential.
Reporting into the Group Business Intelligence Developer, The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line IT Support to ensure all users enjoy a comprehensive support service.
You will also be supported and trained in taking over responsibility for the clients Commodity, Trading and Risk Management system which you will receive full training and support for. Once trained you will be able to train all staff on the use of this important, company-wide system. You will also be tasked with
Logging all support calls within the Service Desk call logging tool
Liaising with third party technical support teams when necessary.
Documenting working procedures and store in SharePoint.
Establishing and maintain effective relationships with the business users and group IT teams
Assisting with internal development work continual service improvement, project work, and support tools.
Becoming a SharePoint Super User, maintaining and Reviewing Permissions for the Group SharePoint Site. Providing technical support for SharePoint. Training all staff on the use of SharePoint.
