Job summary
KS3/4 English SpecialistLancashire
October 2023 - July 2024
Prospero Teaching is looking for a English teacher for an Ofsted "Good" Secondary school in Bury. You will be responsible for teaching English, both to KS3 and KS4. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a two term supply booking.
The school is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. Our school is easily accessible by road (M60, M61 M62 and M66), so this position is ideal for colleagues based in Greater Manchester, Lancashire or West Yorkshire.
Behaviour on the whole is positive and any isolated issues are dealt with by a positive, pro-active "on call" team with a wealth of experience in pastoral matters. All teachers have a Form and this position comes with a lovely Year 10 form.
The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.
