Job summary
Due to unprecedented growth over the last year, my client are looking to add a Senior Drainage Engineer to the business. You'll be working with an industry leading and award winning team who have expanded continuously whilst bringing in a mix of interesting forward thinking schemes in the industryThe Role
·Production and agreement of drainage strategies
·Modelling and review of existing drainage networks
·Identification and flood risk assessments and determining effective solutions
·Experience of attenuation and pollution controls
·SUDs design from concept through to implementation
·Drainage detail design including specification and schedules
·Stakeholder engagement
·Seek to add value on all works and knowledge sharing
·Ensure quality control
·Assist in the estimation of works costs and bidding of new works
The Ideal candidate
·Degree qualified in a relevant subject
·Minimum 5 years post qualifying experience
·Chartered or working towards Chartered status of appropriate professional body
·Demonstrable experienced drainage engineering in both local authority and private sector.
·Wide range of skills and projects including attenuation, SUDS and public realm
·Experience and knowledge within highways, public realm and the civil engineering industry
·Experience in producing MicroDrainage model is essential
·Should be able to manage their workload and will be able to support others
·A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
