Job summary

Job title: Finance Manager - Accounts Receivable

Location: Glascoed

Salary: c.£48,000 depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

Management, development and encouragement of Invoicing Managers, including managing an international team.
Leading a team operating sales and order management for cost-base and project accounting billing plans. An understanding of billing schedules, sales trading and the evidence required to transact these in line with legal requirements is required.
Lead large complex projects in support of the AR strategic vision and manage delivery of key operational processes and activities incoming to the team.
Ownership of the key metrics and reporting requirements for the department
Leading the development of financial policies, processes and procedures to ensure the adoption of best practice and compliance to the Operational Framework
Drive continuous improvement (including Robotic Process Automation) and standardisation across processes
Responsible for educating the wider AR team on changes to operations born through legislation, service, customer or technological changes and ensuring any risks are mitigated.Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

Qualified accountant with broad experience within Financial, Management or Project accounting
Previous people management experience.
Have a good understanding of accounts receivable, legal and financial requirements of a function
Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft packages including creating reports and presentations.Desirable:

Systems knowledge; SAP (preferable), Oracle (desirable)

The Accounts Receivable Team:

Join a highly effective financial operations team specialising in Accounts Receivable services across a range of complex businesses. This role reports to the Service Delivery Manager and will have responsibility for managing various stakeholders, leading teams and ensuring proactive delivery of a variety of operations within the Accounts Receivable field.
