South Tyneside Council have an excellent opportunity for a Plasterer to join their team on an ongoing basis.

Plasterers required for Busy Responsive Repairs Service
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterers to join our dynamic team in a busy responsive repairs service.
As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of plastering repair in tenanted properties.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to our commitment to providing high-quality repairs and maintenance services.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various plastering repairs and installations in tenanted properties. - Carry out tasks such as dot and dab, rendering, bonding, skimming and general plastering work.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues to understand repair requirements and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
- Adhere to project timelines and respond efficiently to urgent repair requests.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer, with expertise in all aspects of plastering repair.
- Possess a valid driving license to travel to various properties.
- Hold a valid face fit certification to ensure compliance with respiratory protection standards.
- Asbestos awareness trained and certified.
- Working at height certification is necessary to perform elevated areas tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Flexibility to handle urgent repair requests and adapt to changing work environments.
