Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.This client are experiencing substantial growth and are looking to expand their team.

The Role:
To manage a team overseeing the Engineering / Maintenance and Production operation.
* Allocate workload and manage the maintenance team.
* Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
* Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
* Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
* Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
* Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
* Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
* Responsible for all aspects of the production process.
* Lead and motivate the team to achieve goals and objectives.
* Monitor the performance of team members by setting and reviewing goals.
* Developing the team through effective training and management.
* Train staff and ensure that the department is appropriately resourced.
* Planning and organising self and others to accomplish specific goals.
* Ensure teams are supported cross-functionally in order to achieve their objectives.
* Continuous improvement and implementing and following modern Manufacturing principles.
* Setting and reviewing schedules of work for the team to motivate and improve efficiencies, ensuring that all targets are met and exceeded on a regular basis.
* Determining quality control standards and ensuring all products are manufactured to a high standard.
* Ensuring health and safety and housekeeping requirements are met and constantly challenged.
* Make Health and Safety a priority and take accountability for the safety of yourself and others including wearing appropriate PPE and following all Health and Safety procedures and guidelines.
* Must have outstanding communication skills, works well with a team and willing to enhance their abilities and knowledge through constant training.
* Must have exceptional leadership with the ability to compromise, negotiate and persuade.
* Must be comfortable making crucial decisions in high pressure situations.
This role is working a Weekend shift pattern.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 06:00am - 18:00pm
Days Only.
The basic salary will be £40,000pa - £50,000pa - Dependant on experience.
