About usA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Buyer/Store Manager to join one of the most innovative and fastest growing fire and electrical companies in the South-East of England.
RGE was founded in 1985 and our head office is in Chigwell, Essex. We are a leading, accredited service provider with 40 years experience of providing Electrical and Fire Compliance services to Housing Associations and Local Authorities across London and the South-East.
Job Role for a Lead Buyer/Store Manager:
* Manage a warehouse of stock (goods in, stock replenishment, goods out)
* Purchase materials to maintain correct stock levels
* Support on the implementation on our new IT stock management software and maintain once in place
* Support on the annual stock take
* Manage supply chain and relationships
* Organise and manage route planning for the delivery driver to multiple locations
* Picking parts in accordance with picking lists
* To ensure goods are correctly booked in and out of stores, correctly packaged and dispatched according to specified procedures and standards
* Managing the correct recycling processes of all materials and waste
* Ensure the general tidiness of the warehouse is maintained at all times
Requirements for a Lead Buyer/Store Manager:
* UK Driving Licence (required)
* Computer literacy: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
* Electrical and/or fire product knowledge
* Ability to build strong relationships with staff and suppliers
* A real can-do attitude and ability to own the duties of the role (with support from senior management)
