There dynamic team shares a unified vision of a greener future where they are transforming commercial parking spaces into renewable energy generators. They are keen on innovation and environmental sustainability, and they have recently launched patent bi-facial PV, freestanding, parking canopy system serves this purpose by providing shade for vehicles while harnessing clean and renewable energy.
Project Manager position
The successful candidate will be pivotal in successfully executing solar PV projects across the UK. This supervisory position will involve leading a team of dedicated professionals, and the responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility assessments to completion, ensuring the highest safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Installation team to conduct site investigations and assess the technical feasibility of specific solar PV projects
* Draft comprehensive scopes of work and estimate project budgets in coordination with the design and installation team
* Develop and maintain project timelines, identifying critical paths and key milestones for success
* Create and distribute Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to potential Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics, and select winning proposals
* Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and agreements with subcontractors and vendors, overseeing all subcontractor work in all phases
* Coordinate and manage the project team, ensuring adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), health and safety and oversee site inventory management throughout all project phases
* Responsible for the management and coordination of the Quality Management team via the company QHSE representative and provide QHSE guidance on a project-by-project basis
* Communicate with utilities and relevant authorities regarding interconnection, permitting, and regulatory compliance issues
* Coordinate and manage all project stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed timelines and provide regular updates to the management team
* Identify potential problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid project risks. Determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy)
* Minimum 6 years of experience in project management across various sectors, with a preference for knowledge in construction and solar PV installations
* Demonstrated experience in supply contracts, budgets, cash flows, time schedules, and tender processes
* Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements and management, with an SMSTS qualification as a minimum, IOSH/NEBOSH preferable
* In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes (preferred but not mandatory)
Essential skills?
* Strong leadership and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is essential
* Strong people management skillsPossess strong organizational and time management skills
* Must be legally entitled to work in the UK and/or EU and be fluent in English
* Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary
