Key Responsibilities:
As a Transition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a comprehensive TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) process for our organization. Your key activities will include:
Managing a complex transition encompassing service transfer, new IT implementation, and the establishment of new contracts while ensuring the fulfillment of existing contractual obligations until the summer of 2024.
Effectively managing internal business stakeholders through service transfer and other projects, establishing and maintaining appropriate governance.
Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing stakeholders and key stakeholders in the new provider's organization.
Initiating and planning the project, assessing feasibility, budgeting, forming teams, and resource allocation.
Selecting, leading, and motivating project teams from both internal and external stakeholder organizations.
Coordinating and managing the project, ensuring it remains on track and within budget.
Implementing monitoring and control activities to track project progress.
Identifying and managing risks and issues to ensure on-time delivery.
Establishing and managing internal and external reporting of project progress.
Closing the project, including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance future projects.Desirable Experience:
To excel in this role, you should have:
A minimum of 5 years of project and program management experience.
A proven track record of building and leading multifaceted teams while fostering a supportive team culture with effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Exceptional operational and business management skills, including business case qualification, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage and direct accordingly.
Full financial, budget management, and forecasting experience.
A creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset with a pragmatic and practical outlook, capable of challenging issues and accounting for risks and consequences.What We Need from You:
