Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:Virtual Model Build Engineer - £29/hr (Inside IR35) Warwickshire 7 Months (potential to extend)

Position Description:
The Model Build and NGD team is responsible for the planning and delivery co-ordination of (Non-Geometric / Technical) engineering data required to build simulation (CAE) models. These models are used by various Engineering Teams to conduct virtual design verification assessments on our future vehicle programmes. The successful applicant will develop close working relationships with the Engineering Teams that design programme specific components and systems and deliver the associated engineering data required to parameterise full vehicle models for the simulation activities. Through these relationships you will ensure robust delivery plans are in place to deliver collated consistent data on time and to the necessary quality. Working as part of a collaborative, iterative and agile team of engineers performing similar tasks at different phases of programme delivery, the focus will be in the latter more stable phases as the designs mature towards production.
Skills Required:
- Highly driven, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision
- Analytical and problem-solving skills in approaching technical issue resolution
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
Experience Required:
- Knowledge of a range of CAD, CAE and other virtual assessment processes, methods and tools
- Knowledge of whole vehicle automotive product design and engineering
- Degree Qualified
- Experience of maintaining traceability and structure in information in a variety of forms
- Background in process development and / or Quality Management Systems
- Experience of project management, planning and delivery
- Capable of expediting successful delivery through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of multi-functional teams.
Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
