My client, a leading FMCG manufacturer who is looking to recruit a tenacious, self-motivated, innovative Account Manager into their existing sales team. You will be responsible for existing accounts to organically grow the category and target new revenue streams within your existing accounts.
The Role:
* Develop, agree and drive implementation sales strategy for all existing customer accounts.
* Create and drive a strategy for growth within UK Grocery using key insight data
* Budget and P&L management in line with business objectives
* Manage relationships with retailers.
* Developing and implementing market sector development plans
* Developing and broadening relationship with existing customers while identifying and qualifying opportunities for new product sales.
The Person
* Creating and executing Category plans, with metrics to measure results.
* Experienced in Category data, from using relevant databases and translating data into meaningful insight, actions, recommendations and opportunities.
* Strategy, Business Planning, execution and tracking internally and externally.
* Financially astute, with excellent understanding of product costings.
* Day to day Account Management duties, to include Forecasting, Demand Planning, Negotiations Pre and Post Promotional planning, management, execution and evaluation.
* Project management: New Product Development, Retailer Briefs, Launches / Re-launches
The successful candidate will have: -
* Experience in a similar role working within a manufacturing environment supplying a top retail customer.
* Proficiency in the use of MS Office is essential.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential
* An ambitious, customer focused team player, highly flexible, motivated, and proactive.
* Show strong leadership and management skills whilst always acting in a Professional manner.
