About the Accounts Administrator job
The purpose of your role will be to provide accurate account records and transactions within a timely manner and communicate clearly with colleagues and external contacts as required. The role is full time and is for maternity cover until November 2024.
Key tasks
* Process invoices and credit notes for stock and general expenses ensuring relevant approvals are obtained.
* Prepare regular payment runs and assist company accountants where necessary.
* Build and maintain an excellent relationship with clients to ensure swift responses for credit notes/queries.
* Liaise with onsite warehouse staff to address any discrepancies in goods receipts.
* Run aged creditor reports to review balances and submit KPI numbers on a regular basis.
* System administration such as keeping records up to date/creating new accounts.
* Work with team members and other colleagues to meet targets & other duties that are assigned.
About You
The successful candidate should have a qualification such as AAT would be an advantage or experience in a similar role, and efficient processing and organizational skills and a keen eye for the smaller details.
* Timely and accurate processing Sales invoices & Payments.
* Effective communication to resolve queries.
* Ability to prioritise and plan effectively to meet deadlines.
* Good basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups and formulae).
* Experience working with Microsoft Dynamic AX /Nav/ Business Central would be highly advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

The Accounts Administrator job is based in Greater Manchester and is paying up to £26,000 according to your experience. The role is full time and is for maternity cover until November 2024.
The working hours are Monday - Thursday 8am 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 3pm (1-2 days from home after probation).
