Barnsley College was once the first College in South Yorkshire to offer a range of T Levels and we have now been offering the pioneering new qualifications for four years! We are developing T Level Technical and Higher Technical Qualifications and are looking for an experienced Lecturer that is looking to develop themselves into curriculum leadership, or a Course Leader seeking a new challenge within a progressive organisation.

Course Leader (Brickwork and Plastering)

Permanent vacancy - 37 hours per week
£37,347 to £43,262 per annum
We are looking for a highly dedicated and motivated Course Leader to join our team of industry experts and specialists in Brickwork and Plastering. You will lead our established delivery team to pass on knowledge to the next generation of trades men and women, covering all aspects of vocational training in Brickwork and Plastering within T Levels and Technical Qualifications. You will work with the existing programme to ensure we are offering our students the highest quality educational experience and practical learning.
Our Course Leader post involves direct line management responsibilities of 4 teaching staff and 1 technician. You will work closely with your team to ensure they are providing learners with the industry standard knowledge and competencies, so that students are aware of and possess the values, behaviours and attitude required to work in the construction industry. Barnsley college is a grade 1 provider of outstanding education and this is an exciting time to join our growing construction department. The CUBE construction campus is a state-of-the-art facility with modern classrooms equipped with the latest technology. We have an open plan staffroom, canteen, onsite gym and free onsite car parking facilities available for staff.
