Job summary
Are you an experienced and highly organised Admin Assistant looking for temporary work? We have a fantastic opening for a School Administrator at a local primary school in West Oxfordshire.Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm (Term Time Only)
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office Management:
* Greet visitors and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the school reception.
* Answer phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
Student Records:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
* Assist in the enrollment and withdrawal processes.
* Attendance and Absence Monitoring:
* Manage student attendance records and liaise with parents/guardians regarding absences.
* Work closely with teaching staff to ensure accurate attendance reporting.
General Administrative Support:
* Provide administrative assistance to various school departments as needed.
* Assist with the organization of school events and activities.
Data Entry and Reporting:
* Enter and manage data in the school's information system.
* Generate reports for internal and external use.
The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
The successful candidate will require an enhanced DBS check.
