Opportunity for an E&I Technician / Engineer - to join an international sustainable manufacturing / heavy process engineering organisation in Kent. Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8 - 4.30. Working under the Maintenance leg of the engineering department structure, The E&I Technician Electrical Instrumentation, will focus on reliability and preventative maintenance.
E&I Technician Requirements:
HNC or above qualification requirement.
Substantial Electrical Instrumentation / E&I experience gained from heavy process environment.
Carry out all maintenance activities that are within your capabilities associated with the site which includes the paper machine, winder, stock prep plant, effluent treatment areas and all site services.
Response to breakdowns that have an immediate effect on plant safety; environmental release or plant performance and the individual must work quickly towards the resolution of any immediate problems.
Objectives will be the regular preventative maintenance routines, scheduled maintenance tasks and the repair of non-critical spare parts as well as responding to any breakdowns and corrective action.
