Pay Rate: £76.89 - £110.22 per day
Start Date: ASAP January 2024

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those attending alternative provision schools with social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) and behaviour needs. Working alongside experienced teachers and professionals, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of these students and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEND
Assist with planning and implementing tailored educational activities
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Help students overcome barriers to learning and promote independence
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to meet individual needs
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team
Manage whole classes (maximum 10 per class) by tasking them with pre planned work
Requirements:
Psychology Graduate degree (or working towards) is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy and understanding towards students with SEND
Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to varying situations
A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
