They have had a fantastic 2023, with planned sales exceeding expectations and as such are looking to expand their technical function.
As such they are looking to a hire a Value Stream Manager to join their business ASAP.
Value Stream Manager Role Overview:
Lead the value stream facilitate profitable growth, by utilising the lean system to engage team members to exceed customer expectations for delivery and quality while also maximising profitability.
Value Stream Manager Role Tasks:
Through the development and utilisation of high-performance teams, create an accident and hazard free work environment.
Develop and maintain high engagement within the value stream.
Develop and execute the operational strategy for the value stream.
Ensure through effective 5S implementation that the production areas are laid out and maintained in the most effective way to minimise waste.
Through the development and utilisation of high performance and Star point structure create and develop a no-fault forward culture and ethos throughout the production system.
Value Stream Manager Candidate Requirements:
People person able to communicate effectively and make judgements fairly & consistently
Significant experience of management within a high paced manufacturing and assembly environment.
Problem solving abilities, knowledge of lean tools and processes
Desirable
Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Business degree or equivalent experience
Value Stream Manager Hours and Benefits:
Mon to Thurs 8am-4.30pm
Friday 8am-2pm
25 Days holiday + bank holidays
