Online Marketing AssistantDesborough
An exciting opportunity to be part of a motivated, energetic team driving our clients online business forward. The team manages four UK and four DE ecommerce websites and a further six nontransactional sites across their brand portfolio. Working across a variety of online marketing verticals, including content creation, SEO & Email, this is the perfect role for an enthused online marketer.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Website maintenance, ensuring new content is regularly created so it is relevant, up to date, engaging and drives conversion
Writing all product copy and content on sites
Editing and uploading images
Create and run brand competitions online
Optimising all content and implementing changes recommended by our SEO agency to increase organic visits and sales
Creating, testing and despatching marketing email campaigns
Work closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure all online, offline and PR activity is aligned Work closely with the Merchandising team to ensure our content & marketing campaigns are strategically aligned with stock levels to maximise conversions
Work closely with in-house translators to update website content and marketing campaigns for the DE and FR websites.
Reporting of website and email campaign performance
Working with third party agencies to raise and fix any online issues
Required Competencies
Creative with strong copywriting skills and an eye for graphic design
Excellent attention to detail
Confident working on your own and as part of a team
Organised with the ability to work to deadlines and show initiative
Good communicator Experience
Experience in marketing and/or the retail/fashion industry. Experience of online marketing would be very advantageous but not essential
Ideally degree educated to a 2:1 or above, preferably a marketing related course
Copywriting
Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Preferably experience of the following; website CMS, Photoshop and Google Analytic
