Elevation Recruitment Group are proudly working with a fantastic engineering and manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Plant Manager.Our client is a leading and innovative manufacturing company, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to a range customers. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement our client is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead their manufacturing operations.
Duties of this Plant Manager will include but are not limited to:
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing facility.
Ensuring efficient and cost-effective production whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise production processes and improve overall efficiency.
Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement and accountability.
Coach, mentor and develop your head of department and production staff.
Develop and manage budgets to optimise resources.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality and safety.
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with established leaders with a background in highly regulated / heavy manufacturing environments and those who possess the following skills and experience:
Degree qualified with a bachelors in engineering, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience within an OEM would be highly desirable such as Modular, Automotive, Rail or Aerospace.
In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and safety standards.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
