Teaching Personnel are working closely with a special educational need school which is based in Brighton. The school are looking for enthusiastic experienced individuals who are able to support both their primary and secondary pupils who have the following needs: profound and multiple, severe, and moderate learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have autism and communication difficulties.
About the school:
The school support both primary and secondary pupils (4-16 years), the pupils will have learning difficulties, mental health, and physical disabilities. We meet needs through an outstanding curriculum that places individual needs at its centre. We value the importance of developing social emotional needs and life skills alongside developing academic knowledge and skills.
About the role:
The chosen Child Mentor will be expected to support pupils on both a 1:1 and small group basis within their classes. You must be comfortable supporting both primary and secondary pupils as well as working alongside a range of special educational needs. If youre a positive person and able to use your initiative, then this role is for you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
