Teaching Assistant

Ashford

Salary - £77 - £85 per day

Vision for Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in partnership with a large 4 form entry Primary school in Ashford. The successful applicant will be working on a 1-1 basis with a child in year 5 who has SEMH and Learning difficulties.

The role is to start after October half-term and will continue on an ongoing basis for the rest of the academic year.

You need to be supportive and caring for this specific role and have experience with working with a child on a 1-1 basis.

This school is a Large Primary school based in the heart of the community with several collaborative events and activities taking place through the year with the local community.

They have great facilities for the children including a large sports pitch for the children to play and do outdoor activities and a reflection area in the behavioural unit for children to calm down and reflect on their actions.

Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

Patient and understanding of childrens needs.
Determined for the best outcomes of children.
Has experience working with SEN children
NVQ Level 2 Or Equivalent to Maths and English GCSE
Adaptability
Good time management
