Our client, a leading Logistics and Warehousing company based in Coalville, is looking for a WMS Project Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, an innovative approach, and experience working in a warehouse operation.

The key responsibilities for the role of the WMS Project Coordinator based on Coalville are as follows.

Successfully manage work streams within a large-scale software transformation program to integrate Aldi's supply chain, collaborating with business and IT representatives.
Oversee third-party warehouse automation providers to integrate new systems into large-scale warehouse automation projects.
Manage and control multiple supply chain projects, partnering with National and International IT departments, Buying, National and International Supply Chain Management, Regional Distribution Centres, and suppliers to meet agreed time frames.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate teams across all business levels.
Ensure that projects align with time, budget, and quality objectives.
Collaborate with project teams and individuals to establish procedures, plans, and practices that foster the adoption of suitable solutions and ensure the sustainability of desired outcomes.
Take responsibility for identifying and managing risks and issues.
Coordinate weekly program meetings, report project statuses, share project plans, and provide program-level business updates.
Continuously seek improvement within the role, streamlining processes and operations to maximise efficiency.
Support the department's strategy implementation as needed.
Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with external partners, managing them in accordance with contract guidelines while monitoring and recording their performance for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project direction, budget, and deliverables, fostering consensus and alignment at all levels.
Identify, explore, and recommend cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain, developing operational plans for implementation while ensuring due diligence and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate for the WMS Project Coordinator role will have the following key skills, qualifications and experience.

Experienced in Project Management
Proficient in Stakeholder Management
Skilled in Risk and Issue Management
Proficient in Project Planning
Competent in Confluence, JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and MS Project
Proven track record in delivering large cross-functional projects
Capable of managing and planning dependencies between multiple projects to achieve a program of change
Knowledge and experience in collaborating with IT teams for successful software transformation projects
Demonstrates an understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain (desirable)
Experience with integrating and/or operating Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems in Automated Warehouses (desirable)
