Placement year commencing in Summer 2024We are currently offering an opportunity for two undergraduates studying for their Law degree to join a placement scheme in our Real Estates Disputes (RED) Team.

Our Real Estate Disputes Team advise their clients, which include developers, property owners, financial institutions, and insolvency practitioners, on a variety of high-value and complex disputes relating to the use and occupation of land.
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide support to our specialist lawyers on a wide range of tasks, ensuring they are able to work at optimum efficiency and deliver the right outcomes for their clients. You will receive on-the-job training and support from the team to ensure you get the most out of your time with us.
Day to Day:
* You will support the RED Team with a broad range of administrative tasks, including the preparation of engagement letters, file opening and billing, and document production.
* You will act as an initial point of contact for new enquiries, ensuring accurate details are taken from the potential client and referred on as appropriate.
* You will liaise with clients when necessary to provide updates on their matters and answers to any of their questions and queries.
* We care deeply and as such, you will provide a highly attentive and customer-focused approach. Many of our clients work with us on a repeat business basis choosing the more personal service provided by Moore Barlow relative to other firms.
