Job summary
Job Title: MFL Teacher (German and/or French)Location: South Benfleet
Position Overview:
As an MFL Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and guiding students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting our students in their language acquisition journey.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in German and/or French to students of varying abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, language clubs, and school events to enrich the student experience.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is highly desirable but not essential
- Specialisation in German and/or French languages.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting language learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching German and/or French at the secondary level.
- Familiarity with the UK national curriculum for MFL would be ideal
Pay Rate:
£140 - £240 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
