The IT Applications Engineer role will be responsible for providing expert 2nd/3rd Line level support to a diverse userbase, predominantly on software applications and the company's ERP system.
You will also have involvement in testing and training, where you will test on software updates, and training users on core applications and the ongoing development of systems.
The role will operate on USA business hours, as you will support the international business, and therefore work 2pm-10pm GMT.
Ideally you will be based locally to the Kettering head office, where you will get the chance to work on-site with the wider team, but you will also get the chance to split your duties from home a couple of times per week, as part of the company's hybrid working culture.Profile
As the successful candidate for the IT Applications Engineer vacancy, you will be experienced in:
2nd/3rd Line support of a core business application, such as ERP.
System testing following software updates, such as bug fixes and development rollouts.
Communicating effectively with a range of end-users on fault resolution.
Working as part of an established team, collaborating with colleagues to resolve tickets.Job Offer
