We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Business Development Manager based in the North. The Business Development Manager will be on the road at least 4 days a week and is responsible for maintaining existing partnerships, exploring potential opportunities for growth and develop new relationships with future clients. In addition to coordination for all corporate analytics, they will partner with existing accounts to maintain our relationships, provide continual support of their purchasing needs and communicate new/existing products, services and programs.Who We Are

What will you be doing as our Business Development Manager?
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Take full ownership of the regions specific sales budget and forecast.
Collaborate with internal departments to develop and carry out sales initiatives to increase sales.
Develop our customer base through an account management thought process that focuses on nurturing client relationships by maintenance and growth.
Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients requirements are met.
Strategise internally by communicating opportunities, challenges and market trends affecting assigned accounts.
Take on responsibility of all analytical reporting for the account as well as project managing any initiatives that are rolled out.
Collect and analyse sales data and trends.
Formulate customer specific sales plans/strategies in line with accountable budgets, costing and prices.
Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies.
What we are looking for in our Business Development Manager:
At least 5 years proven successful experience in a similar role, ideally in a similar industry.
Must be based in the North and willing to travel at least 4 days per week.
Experience working with construction/end users.
Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients requirements.
In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.
Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Availability to travel as needed (Company car allowance provided).
Must be team oriented with the ability to be flexible in pursuit of the larger goal.
Must be a people-person someone who is approachable, easy to talk to, and trusted.
Existing relationships and networks within key target industries is a definite plus.
A self-starter with the ability to independently understand the mission and objective and develop a plan to accomplish the target.
A competent CRM user ideally with experience of using NetSuite.
Must have hustle, be entrepreneurial, results driven, and ability to focus on actionable data.
