Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Contracts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage a variety of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a critical role in coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple mechanical and electrical projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and cost requirements.
* Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution from initiation to completion.
* Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Monitor project progress, financials, and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
* Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to project staff and team members.
* Evaluate and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and report on project status to senior management.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the mechanical and electrical contracting industry.
* Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
* In-depth knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Safety-focused mindset with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
* Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
