Are you an Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing industry? If yes, read on.

My client is a well established niche business looking to expand following recent investment. The manufacturing facility is based within commutable distance from Preston, Burnley, Manchester & Bolton. They are currently looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on a day shift which runs from Monday-Thursday.

The Role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Maintain and understand all production lines and how they should run efficiently

Fault finding Electrical and Mechanical on plant to diagnose and repair production machinery

Create and manage a PPM schedule to ensure assets remain as efficient as possible

Ensure PPM program is completed on time to ensure minimal disruption to production

Ensure machinery is running as expected and where necessary perform reliability monitoring to reduce machine breakdowns

Provide technical support to the management team where necessary recommending solutions and preventive measures

Complete reporting and paperwork as required to ensure accurate records are kept

Be an advocate of process improvement and look at ways of improving the plant and processes

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Its expected that you will be educated to a minimum to HNC/NVQ/C&G Level

Experience of working as a Maintenance Engineer within a fast paced environment

Electrically qualified to 18th edition

Inspection and Testing 2391 would be an advantage

Excellent verbal and written and communication skills

Experience of implementing process and maintenance plans would be an advantage

IT literate able to work with MS Packages (spreadsheets etc)

The Package - Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Starting salary of between £40,000 to £45,000 per annum

4 day week (Monday to Thursday) (Overtime available)

33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
