Job summary
We are currently working with a well-established local success story who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join them in this newly created position.The business is going from strength to strength with expansion overseas. Therefore, the volume of work will be increasing so we need someone to join the team and support the month end reporting cycle and assist in the production of the management accounts.
This is an excellent chance for someone to develop and grow their accountancy experience with the month end reporting cycle, as well as be supported with study package and mentorship.
Duties will include :-
Assist the Finance Manager with the production of the month end management accounts
Manage the daily reconciliation of the company bank accounts
Manage the stock reconciliation process and monitor expenditure
Accruals/Prepayments
Prepare the payments HMRC, VAT returns and associated payments
Monitor the completion of the nominal ledger reconciliations and deal with associated queries
Prepare subsidiary reports associated with month end queries
