Job summary
We are looking for a Precision Machining Training Manager to join our team in our award winning Apprentice Academy. You will provide instruction, training, advice, guidance, supervision and line management of apprentices as required.Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area
Salary: £43310 - £50000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

We are looking for the Precision Machining Training Manager to have:
Appropriate professional training qualification or equivalent
Appropriate assessment and/or verification qualifications
Occupationally competent in engineering principles and techniques
Good levels of literacy and numeracy
Proven presentation skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal to be understood by a range of audiences, from new apprentices to senior management
Good influencing skills to ensure the appropriate learning opportunities and development of individuals
Personally well organised and able to work in an organised manner, coping with multiple tasks and able to deliver in the face of challenges
Extensive experience in an engineering environment
As part of this role you must:
Undertake and pass a CRB check
Have the ability and affinity for working with a diverse range of people and grades across the business particularly young people
Have the ability to attend off-site events (e.g. meetings, conferences, residential courses, etc.) which may include short periods away from home including overnight stays
All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the correct security clearance for this role.
