About the role
The Finance Business Partner is to be the finance lead and to work alongside several different business divisions creating and maintaining close stakeholder relationships. The role will provide consistent support and analysis that can be relied upon to aid commercial decision making. The Finance Business Partner will also be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective financial control (reporting, budgeting and forecasting) whilst working closely with the operations team to contribute to the company strategy.
Key responsibilities
Line Manager responsibility for one Accountant - including supporting their development.
Ensure financial control is delivered and reporting is accurate and timely (internal weekly and periodic reporting, plus statutory accounts) - with the assistance of the Accountant
Review and approve the periodic Management Accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Business Partner to the Divisional MD, supporting Commercial and Financial modelling and analysis
Produce cashflow forecast modelling
Deliver continuous improvement over finance processes, to ensure processes are reflective of business growth
Assist with the production of board reporting
Build strong relationships with Senior StakeholdersPerson profile
CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified
Experience within a fast paced retail/consumer environment is highly desirable
High level of interpersonal gravitas and ability to partner with senior stakeholders
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment with ever-changing prioritiesPackage
