Who is our client?Our client is an installation company that was founded in 2016. Within such a short period of time, they have grown from a company with a work force of 4 employees in a small officeto now having their 3rd office with over 70 staff! And recently the holders of the National renewable heat installer & contractor of the year.Our client was notified that they have delivered the highest number of LAD measures in the UK alongside the Liverpool city region. They offer a range of services such as: Gas boiler replacements, external wall insulation, internal wall insulation, underfloor insulation, loft insulation, cavity walls, solar panels, and air source heat pumps.
What our client wants:
They are looking for a hard-working electrician with a proventrack record, understands the principles of testing, inspecting, and fault finding.
The successful candidate must have:
BS7671 17th/18th Edition IEE Regulations (2022)
A full drivers license
BS2391, 2394/5 or equivalent
City & Guilds 2399 or equivalent in Solar PV is desirable but now mandatory
City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
Minimum 2 years electrical experience is preferred but not mandatory as further training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Experience in renewables is preferred but not mandatory as further training will be provided to the successful applicant.
The successful candidate will be carrying out the following tasks:
Wiring in ventilation systems
Working on S-Plans and Y-Plans for Air Source Heat Pump Installations
Wiring up heating systems and Installing new heating controls
Installing Solar PV Wiring
Other duties where required
The successful candidate will be provided with the following:
Van
Any specialist tools required
Additional training i.e., health and safety, asbestos awareness etc
Uniform
Our client has a range of contracts across the Northwest and North of England, although our installers mainly worklocally,they would expect an element of flexibility as there may sometime be the requirement for out of area works and overtime although this is the exception and would not be a regular requirement.
