Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), part-time will also be considered.
Start Date: January 2024
End Date: 6 months contract initially.
Rate of pay: £15 - £21 per hour.
Must be ACT accediated!
A Day in the Life of a ACT Pharmacy Technician
As Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in completing the final accuracy check on dispensed medications before they are supplied to the patient or customer.
Offer patient-centred care by focusing on service provision, medicine management and optimisation
Accurately checking items labelled and dispensed by other individuals
Reduce the risk of dispensing-related incidents by ensuring items are labeled accurately
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
Must be ACT accediated!
Some kind of previous community pharmacy experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position is full-time (Monday Friday) from 9am to 5pm, with the option of part-time if needed. The contract is initially for 6 months (January 2024 June 2024).
